This painting was inspired by footsteps in the sand. Yet it could also be sand dunes or hills surrounded by water. It is meant to be ambiguous. This is often how it is with life. At times we are so certain that things are as they seem. Yet the reality may be very different.
A gentle rhythm permeates the piece. It is an invitation to lightly ride the ups and downs of life.
