I understand the significance of a personalized piece of art. Commissioning a custom artwork allows you to bring your vision to life and own a unique creation tailored to your preferences. Here's the step-by-step commission process:

1. Consultation:

Contact Me to begin. Together, we will start with a discussion to understand your vision, preferred style, size, and any specific elements you'd like to incorporate into the piece.

In the past, I have received commissions to recreate one of my paintings in a different size or with an altered color palette. Additionally, I have been ask to create paintings based on specific objects, locations or photographs.

2. Proposal and Agreement:

After our consultation, I will provide a detailed proposal outlining the scope of the project, including pricing, timeline, and terms. Once both parties agree, we'll proceed to the next phase. A 50% non-refundable down payment is paid at this time. Depending upon size and subject, 4 to 8 months will be needed for completion.

3. Initial Concepts and Sketches:

I create preliminary sketches or concepts based on our discussed ideas and share these with you for feedback and adjustments before moving forward. Please keep in mind that the best pieces evolve throughout our process. During this time, elements may be eliminated or added and colors may be altered. Allowing room for this will result in the best outcome.

4. Artwork Creation:

Once the concept is finalized, I will commence work on the commissioned piece. Throughout the process, I will provide updates and, if necessary, share progress images for your review.

5. Review and Revisions:

Upon completion, I will present the finished artwork for your review. If there are any minor adjustments you'd like, I will make revisions to ensure the piece aligns with your vision.

6. Approval and Delivery:

Once you're satisfied with the final artwork, the final payment will be due along with the shipping and handling fee. When the final payment has been received, the painting will be prepared for delivery. The utmost care is taken to package and ship the piece securely to ensure it arrives in pristine condition.
