Driving South along California's Highway 101 provides an inspiring vista of hills and valleys. The sensual shapes and flowing lines gracefully sweep across the landscape in harmony. I am left in a state of wonder and am inspired. The sunlit hilltops came to represent the result of an inner striving to commune with the Light of Universal Spirit. In so doing we are lifted out of the shadows to a higher moral plane. The painting extends to the outer (side) edges of the canvas.
