At Her Core
At Her Core
Oil on canvas
40 x 30 in
My broken seashells are used as operating metaphors for aging. Though our looks may fade and we may feel a bit beat up by life at times, with practice we can learn to be more compassionate, patient and kind. Like the inner spiral of a shell which is visible after the outer shell has been broken, our inner beauty may be revealed through our actions, our eyes and our smile.
The painting extends around the outer edges of the canvas, so no framing is necessary.
